About

Three instructors, one small studio. With no more than four people in a class, the instructor can correct your form by hand. Many of our members are new to exercise or deal with recurring back and neck pain. We care more about not getting hurt than about fast results.

How we teach

Three things we hold to

An instructor supporting a member's knee
01

We correct by hand

Copying a mirror, you never quite know where your body is. The instructor places a hand on your pelvis or shoulder and shows you. That's why we keep classes to four.

02

The machine supports you

A reformer's springs can add resistance or take it away. Movements you can't do on a mat become safe on the machine. That's why people with a sensitive back start here.

03

Same people, every week

A small group is the same day, the same hour, the same four people. The instructor remembers each person's last week. Consistency comes less from willpower than from a structure like this.

FAQ

Common questions

I've never exercised. Is that okay?

That's half of our members. In the trial class we look at your body and start at the easiest level.

I have a herniated disc. Can I still come?

If your doctor has recommended exercise, we suggest starting with private sessions. Tell us your diagnosis and which movements hurt. During an acute flare-up, please wait until it settles.

What if I miss a class?

Let us know by the day before and you can move it to another slot within the same month. Same-day cancellations count as one session.

Do men come too?

They do. In most groups of four, one or two are men.
